I seem to have fallen into another of those writing lulls, when updates are few and far between, and even then are brief and link-dependent. This is not by design, I assure you, but the doldrums have definitely settled on the House of Cheer.
There are reasons for this, but they are multitudinous and boring, so I'll save you all the trouble and refrain from airing them.
Almost invariably after I post one of these explanations/apologies, I go on a tear and starting posting right and left (well, mostly Left, I guess). I'm hoping that pattern holds true.
In the meantime, my buddy Rick is on such a tear right now, having posted two great pieces during the 1 o'clock hour yesterday. I urge you to check out both Rights vs. Powers and Victims. As the kids say, you'll be glad you did.
